Prior to working in the photography industry in New York City, I interned and worked in rural India since the age of 19.
An MSc. in Environment and Development from the University of East Anglia, UK ensured I had a thorough understanding on issues of natural resource management, gender and livelihoods. I proceeded to work on projects involving water governance in Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, and land degradation in Odisha.
A strong believer in the power of images, it has been a dream to combine my passions of development and photography, which is why I am always keen to work on such projects.
Most recently, I photographed and designed a book for UNDP India to document the beneficiaries of their coastal development project in Sindhudurg, Maharashtra.
The best part? I work with a staggering price model for agencies on a budget.
