Quest for Sunlight During a Global Pandemic​​​

 


India witnessed one of the strictest lockdowns globally, during the coronavirus pandemic in 2020. Mumbai, being the epicentre has seen strict curfews and restrictions not allowing residents to step out of their homes for anything except for essential items.

Living on a lower floor in a city full of high-rises means little to no chance of getting Vitamin D on a regular basis. Taking turns to sit on the window ledge, during the hour and a half when we get direct sunlight, is the new normal.
